CRAIG CASTELLI is the Founder and CEO of Caber Hill Advisors. He launched Caber Hill in 2014 to solve a problem plaguing millions of business owners: a lack of qualified, experienced advisory firms willing to serve small- and middle-market companies. With Caber Hill, he has designed a proprietary approach and built an expert team that is singular in the market.
Craig has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, and sales management. He has advised hundreds of companies ranging from small, privately held businesses to public companies and private equity firms. While his foremost expertise is healthcare services M&A, since founding Caber Hill he has worked with companies in several dozen sectors.
Before founding Caber Hill, Craig spent three years as a Managing Director of Bridge Ventures, founding its Chicago office and participating in dozens of M&A and valuation engagements.
Prior to joining Bridge, Craig was Manager of U.S. Business Development for Siemens Hearing Instruments, a division of Siemens Healthcare, where he managed M&A and customer financing activities. He spent seven years at Siemens, gaining valuable experience from a variety of roles that included both domestic and international responsibilities.
He received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Marquette University. He is a licensed Illinois Business Broker and a Certified Transaction Advisor. He serves on numerous non-profit boards, including Erie Neighborhood House, a 130-year-old community services agency based in Chicago’s near West Side, and Friends of Mitchell, which raises money for a local school. He is also a member of the University Club of Chicago and the Association for Corporate Growth.
Craig lives in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood with his wife and two children.
You’ll mostly find him on the sidelines of his kids various sporting events, but when time permits he’s in pursuit of all things outdoors, frequently skiing out west, running on Chicago’s lakefront path, or hacking up a local golf course.
