Caber Hill Advisors announced today that it advised The Hearing Consultants, of Cincinnati, OH, in its sale to Dr. Timothy J. Teague, Au.D. The transaction closed in January, 2017. At the request of the parties involved, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Barbara Rozzo founded The Hearing Consultants in 1997, establishing a premier provider of audiology and hearing aid services in the Cincinnati market. She will exit the practice upon a successful transition of patient care to Dr. Teague.
Barb Rozzo said, “I am thrilled at the opportunity to transition my practice to Dr. Teague and eager to watch him continue the Hearing Consultants legacy for years to come. After receiving numerous offers to buy the practice in a short period of time, I am confident that I made the best choice, not only for myself but also for my staff, my patients, and the Cincinnati community. I’d like to thank the Caber Hill team for the invaluable guidance they provided throughout the sale process. I had met Dr. Teague prior to retaining Caber Hill, and yet I couldn’t imagine trying to sell a practice without their support and expertise.”
Dr. Teague remarked, “It has been an exciting adventure so far taking over ownership in the first few months of the new year. Craig and Caber Hill Advisors have been very easy to work with throughout the entire purchasing and negotiations of the business.”
Craig Castelli led the engagement for Caber Hill. He said, “Hearing Consultants is one of the premier independent practices in the Midwest and we are delighted to have helped transition it to new ownership while ensuring it remains owned and operated by an audiologist.
